Elements of Interiors I

Texture + Color + Shape

Third Year Fall

This class was a series of three projects all building off each other. The first was centered around analyzing how individuals interact in space. Second we built off of a geometry found in the first projects to create space that has two different conditions based on the orientation. The third project was a combination of three different previous projects with the goal of reflecting color.

The light box was designed as an experiment of creating layered spaces viewed at precise points. Color temperature was the main experiment within the space. Blue tones bounced off of reflective surfaces upward through the volume. Copper tones reflect down and mix with cool tones bouncing upwards.
